When touristic businesses proceed to the short term rental of their touristic houses through sharing economy digital platforms, they should mention in all of their listings their Authorized License Number (Ε.Σ.Λ.).

In case the house has an Authorized License (Ε.Σ.Λ.) for a Touristic Furnished Villa and is leased through the sharing economy digital platforms they should:

  1. The villa should be registered at the “Short Tern Rental Registry”.
  2. The registration will not be accompanied by a Property Registry Number (Α.Μ.Α.), but instead of the Α.Μ.Α. the Authorized License number shall be referred on the digital platforms with the Ε.Σ.Λ. prefix.
  3. Submit the “Short Term Rental Statement” for each short term rental.
  4. The deadline for every statement is until the 20th of the following month from the day of the tenant’s departure from the property and is submitted through the Property Registry application
  5. Finalize the data that has been registered in the “Registry of Short Term Rentals” until February 28 of the year of submission of the Income Tax Statement so as to determine the taxable income per income beneficiary.
